Promoting excellence in
Earth science education
Since 1993, Oklahoma Geological Foundation has been supporting teachers, students, and educational organizations to advance Earth science education in Oklahoma.
How we help
We make a difference for teachers and students in Earth sciences through four key initiatives:
More! Rocks
in Your Head
This hands-on interactive workshop equips teachers to bring engaging Earth science lessons to their classroom.
Rock, Mineral & Fossil Collections
Our Rock, Mineral & Fossil Collections bring science to life for students of all ages as they get hands-on with rocks, minerals, and fossils.
Grants &
Scholarships
We award grants and scholarships at the elementary, secondary, and higher education levels, including field camp grants for graduate students.
