Raising funds to further our mission
Our newest event, Rocks & Swing Fore STEM, started in 2019 as a family-friendly fundraiser for the Foundation and the work we do to support Earth science education.
About the event
The Oklahoma Geological Foundation will hold its 5th annual Rocks & Swing FORE STEM event on August 17th, 2023, at TopGolf Oklahoma City. This year will have over 75 silent auction items of beautiful fossils and minerals along with three dream vacations being offered:
- Safari Extravaganza, 7 days & 6 nights for 2 (valued @ $13,000) Includes private vehicle, driver, guide & meals!!
- Dominican Republic Villa, 5 days & 4 nights for 6 (valued @ $11,860) Includes a stay at a private villa with food & private chef!!
- Belize for Chocolate lovers 6 days & 5 nights for 2 (valued @ $5,650) Includes a stay in the Lodge at Big Falls in the heart of the cacao district!!
The silent auction will be online through Bray’s Auction site and can be accessed with the tab Join the Silent Auction below beginning on August 7th. Come to the event and bid on the live auction with 14 unique items. Join us in having fun hitting golf balls, socializing, and feasting on a great dinner prepared by Back Yard Bar-B-Que prior to the auction. Auctioneers Tom Berry and Richard Branch will entertain again this year and auction off the Live items highlighted with wine collections, spectacular minerals, fossils and more. One hundred percent of the net proceeds from this event help the Foundation provide funding for earth science projects for schools, grades K through 12 and scholarships for university level students, all in the State of Oklahoma.
