Raising funds to further our mission
Our newest event, Rocks & Swing Fore STEM, started in 2019 as a family-friendly fundraiser for the Foundation and the work we do to support Earth science education.
About the event
The Oklahoma Geological Foundation held its 4th annual Rocks & Swing FORE STEM event on August 25th, 2022, at TopGolf Oklahoma City. This year was the best ever with over 130 people in attendance, having fun hitting golf balls, socializing and feasting on a great dinner prepared by Back Yard Bar-B-Que. There were 53 silent auction items presented with bidding via internet. Auctioneers Tom Berry and Richard Branch capped off the evening with excitement and fun as they auctioned off 15 Live items highlighted by a trip to St. John Island (US Virgin Islands) for up to 6 and $2500 to cover expenses. You won’t want to miss the next event to be held at TopGolf Oklahoma City, 6PM on Thursday, August 17th 2023.
One hundred percent of the net proceeds from this event help the Foundation provide funding for earth science projects for schools, grades K thru 12 and scholarships for university level students, all in the State of Oklahoma.
