Rocks & Swing Fore STEM
Rocks & Swing Fore STEM is our annual family-friendly fundraiser to support the Foundation and Earth science education in Oklahoma. Join us for a fun night of hitting golf balls, socializing, and enjoying a wonderful buffet dinner. Our online silent auction starts one week prior and continues until the live auction kicks off at the event. Bring the entire family for a night of fun in August!
Event Details
Our 2025 event was a huge success!
The lineup was set for an outstanding event on August 21, 2025:
- 51 silent auction pieces
- 13 live auction pieces
- Richard Branch as auctioneer
- A delicious BBQ buffet
- Fun for the entire family at TopGolf OKC
Our 7th annual Rocks & Swing Fore STEM auction was a fantastic event that built on the success and momentum of previous years. We had new highs in the most important categories — attendance and money raised! We had close to 150 attendees, and we netted just under $50,000 raised after expenses, which tops last year’s record. Thank you to our returning and new attendees who helped make this event a success! Your generosity and excitement was contagious and amazing.

We had our first-ever kids’ auction this year! The future scientists were excited to bid on special kids-only items, and you could really feel the energy! We plan to expand the kids’ auction next year.
The impact of this event reaches far beyond one night of food, fun, and golf. Your continued financial support enables the Foundation to provide students with the opportunity for a dynamic and vibrant education in Earth science. The Foundation’s remarkable progress over the past decade has been powered by your gifts.
The collective funds from our event attendees, the Foundation, and other donors makes it possible for us to support Earth science education in incredible ways. For example, with $40,000, we can buy more than 40 of our Rock, Mineral & Fossil Collections, or send dozens of aspiring geoscientists to Field Camp, or provide grants to many schools in Oklahoma as they teach Earth science to our kids.
